Diversity of new Russian bread wheat cultivars according to leaf rust resistance genes

Background . Cultivation of resistant cultivars is an effective method wheat protection against leaf rust. The purpose this work was to characterize the juvenile rust resistance bread listed in State Register for Selection Achievements 2021 and identify their Lr genes using molecular markers. Materials methods material included 18 winter nine spring ones. Juvenile seedling phase assessed with two test clones ( kLr9 и kLr19 ) Krasnodar population Puccinia triticina Erikss. Molecular markers were used genes. Results discussion A high level (score 0 or 0;) shown by cvs. ‘Khamdan’, ‘Sharm’ ‘Omskaya 44’; moderate 2, 2+) ‘Albidum 2030’. Reactions ‘Polina’, ‘Rossyp’, ‘Status’, ‘Balkysh’ ‘Bogema’ variable. studied did not contain Lr9, Lr24, Lr25, Lr28, Lr29, Lr39, Lr47 Lr66 adult plant Lr21 Lr35 Markers identifiable detected cv. ‘Sharm’, highly ‘Khamdan’ had ineffective Lr10 gene a partial Lr34 , which offered no stage. These seem additional 44’ provided combination Lr19, Lr26, Lr1 Lr3 In ‘Nemchinovskaya 85’, partially Lr37 identified. other tested cultivars, Lr1, Lr3, Lr10, Lr26 widely represented.
